CracklePop TV Vs Do You Even Stream Bro IPTV

CracklePop TV (No IP Lock Streaming TV/VOD Service) compared to Do You Even Stream Bro (IP Lock IPTV Service) is like comparing a KIA automobile (DYESBro) to a Mercedes (CracklePop). What you don’t see is hidden and what you don’t know is revealed on this comparison page. The point is to make you aware before making a final decision and miss out on something much better. Let’s explore both as they are broken down a great deal more.

Do You Even Stream Bro vs CracklePop TV

How Do Both Streaming Services Compare?

Website Comparison

Since you already know the name, more than likely you already visited the Do You Even Stream Bro IPTV website. You might be trying to find a good review whereas this article may be better and a little more interesting. And if you happen to stumble across this page, you might as well see what you’re missing in TV/VOD entertainment.

DYES Bro Website (Bad)

The website itself has a very basic design with limited FAQs and information on the Home page. If you are an experienced IPTV service user, obviously you don’t need many details. But newcomers to these services, need much-needed information to decide whether to try it for free, pay the subscription, or walk away.

How about telling website visitors what countries are included? Are there any VOD movies and TV series included? Just some of the questions I would ask if new to this. They don’t answer many of your questions on the site. It appears they rather take up your time by contacting them to ask a series of questions.

CracklePop TV Website (Very Good)

Unlike the Do You Even Stream Bro website, the CracklePop TV website is loaded with helpful information. Most if not all your questions are answered which limits asking presale questions if any at all. The website makes it clear what you are getting for the most part, even though there’s a lot more under the hood not revealed.

Reading the FAQ section is a must. It’s packed full of information and answers typical questions that most new customers ask.

No doubt you will love the CracklePop website design and how easy it is to sift through sections of content. When scrolling down the site, you see the ‘Choose Your Plan’ which also tells you ‘What to do First…’. When scrolling down further, there’s the free VOD bonuses section.

When scrolling down to the footer section of the site, you will see there are more Legal Pages than what’s on DYES Bro. The Refund Policy is also there. Of course, there’s more information including trial and subscription packages with costs. The CracklePop TV website also includes a blog with helpful and interesting article posts and you will find a list of countries with the number of channels for each.

Installation Setup/Video Tutorials

DYES Bro Video Tutorials (Bad)

Do You Even Streams Bro provides 3 subpar video tutorials such as the Install LUX Player App on the LG Smart TV, Install it on the Samsung Smart TV, and Install it on Roku. There are no video tutorials for other compatible devices namely the Firestick, Fire TV, Fire Cube, NVIDIA Shield, and Android devices (TV, Box, Smartphone, Tablet). Not even step-by-step written instructions.

CracklePop TV Installation Setup Guides/Video Tutorials (Very Good)

CracklePop TV, on the other hand, provides written installation guides for many of the compatible devices including Android devices and devices with Android OS. The video tutorials titles are shown below:

  • What is CracklePop TV (Review)
  • How to Register-Pay for Trial
  • How to Pay for Subscription After Trial Ended
  • How to Register-Pay for Subscription
  • How to Cancel Service/Subscription
  • 5 CracklePop TV Emails Including Your IPTV Service Info
  • Where is the Client Area/Account

Subscribers also have access to the Client (Customer) Area when logging in. This is where they will find the Knowledgebase, more setup guides/video tutorials, account information, etc.

IPTV Player (a.k.a. TV Player, Media Player)

DYES Bro LUX Player App (Fair)

They support only one app called LUX Player which is very user-friendly and easy to navigate and find specific types of content to watch online. However, there are very limited features. Also, the IPTV services supporting this app don’t provide many countries. These services mostly cater to North America but also include UK, Spanish, and French channels. They may include German channels.

LUX Player is limited in the number of compatible devices that can be used compared to CracklePop TV. But it’s also compatible with Roku. I’ll go further into the feature enhancements comparison a bit later.

CrackelePop TV Supported TV Player Apps (Very Good)

Here’s a list of supported TV apps:

  • CracklePop TV Smarters (IPTV Smarters Pro rebranded)
  • IPTV Smarters Pro
  • Smarters Player Lite
  • Tivimate IPTV Player
  • IBO Player
  • Other TV Players Included
  • Web TV Player ***Opens in a web browser
  • Free Bonuses – VOD Movies/TV Series Apps ***Get 1000s more VOD movies/TV series

This gives users a larger selection of apps and compatible devices to choose from. The user can use the same login details for any one of the apps listed above when installed. You don’t need to log in whenever opening the app to watch TV. The same thing for LUX Player.

Compatible Devices

Do You Even Stream Bro Compatible Devices (Fair)

Includes:

  • Android Devices (Smartphone, TV, Box & Tablet)
  • Devices w/ Android OS (Fire Stick, Fire TV, Fire Cube & NVIDIA Shield)
  • Roku
  • iOS/Apple Devices (iPad, iPhone & Apple TV)
  • Smart TVs (LG & Samsung)
  • Computers ***Although they are listed as compatible, no other source states this is true

CracklePop TV Compatible Devices (Very Good)

Includes:

  • Same compatible devices as DYES Bro above
  • Computers (Windows, MacOS & Linux)
  • Chromecast w/ Google TV
  • Mag Devices
  • Formuler

Also, the M3U Playlist is supported.

IP Lock/No IP Lock

Do You Even Stream Bro IP Lock (Fair)

When the app is activated and connected to the streaming service servers, the user’s IP address (at home) from the Internet service used gets locked in and cannot be changed. This is called an IP Lock IPTV system.

When taking a compatible portable streaming device such as a laptop with LUX Player installed to another household, it won’t allow you to watch TV online in that household. This is because the other household has its own Internet service and IP address which is not the one already locked into the LUX Player app installed on the laptop.

This also means you cannot use a VPN service that changes and hides your IP address. Only one smartphone can be used to connect to any WiFi area.

CracklePop TV No IP Lock (Very Good)

IP Lock IPTV services like CracklePop IPTV have no limitations. The TV viewer can watch everything at home, on the go, and from any household/establishment near or far using a portable device. The IP address can change which means the TV viewer can take his/her device to any household/establishment in the world that has Internet service with an IP address. The user can also connect any smartphone to any WiFi area and watch his/her favorites.

Feature Enhancements

DYES Bro/App Features (Fair)

Feature enhancement is very limited when using the LUX Player app connected to the TV/VOD service (servers). Here’s a list…

  • Search Tools: Search for city, channel name, or VOD movie/TV series title
  • Content Tracking: Channels watched recently are stored for easy access to watch again.
  • EPG (Electronic Program Guide): EPG live channels categories where a category of channels such as English can be selected to load the TV guide with only those channels to watch. Select the Sports EPG category and this will load the TV guide with only those channels
  • Add to Favorites: When last tested, only VOD TV series and VOD movies could be added to favorites, not live channels

CracklePop TV Apps/Features (Very Good)

There are more features included with the apps supported but not all apps will have the same features. Here’s a list of feature enhancements:

  • Multi-Screen: Up to 4 PIP screens at one time
  • Add to Favorites: Both live channels and VOD movies/TV series can be added to favorites
  • Record: This feature has yet to be tested. An external device must be used but there are no instructions for setting this up
  • EPG (Electronic Program Guide) / TV Guide: Many EPG live channel categories can be selected to load the TV guide and watch only the channels
  • Sort: A-Z or Z-A, and more
  • Settings: Many features such as Parental Control, Time-Format, Speed Test, and more *** depend on the TV app used
  • Preview/Full Screen: Can preview channels first and then enable fullscreen
  • Can pause/play live channels ***IPTV Smarters
  • Master Search/Other Search Tools
  • Web TV Player: TV/VOD App opens in a web browser. Can watch using a device with a web browser that can stream live/VOD content such as a computer, tablet, etc.
  • And other features more or less depending on the app used

Live Channels, VODs & Countries

Do You Even Stream Bro Channels/VOD/Countries (Questionable)

Unlike CracklePop TV, DYES Bro has a very limited number of countries included. Users will get access to channels from the US, UK, maybe CA, or AU, including Spanish, and French. Also, German channels could be included. The service caters more to English streaming TV/VOD content.

There are 1000s of live channels but it is hard to say if they deliver VOD movies/TV series. When navigating through their website, I didn’t see any writing of the VODs. Usually, these types of services deliver 1000’s of VOD movies/TV series. Even when clicking the ‘CHANNELS’ link on the site, it doesn’t tell you much.

TV viewers can watch movies, shows, news, sports, documentaries, adult content (locked by default) and so on. Often this type of service has a good selection of live sports that also includes seasonal sports, local/national/international sports, and PPV (boxing) events. They may include sports replays such as UFC.

If VOD is delivered, then movies will have new releases and genres also. TV series will have seasons and episodes. As you can see, I’ve provided more info than what’s included on their websites which is lacking.

CracklePop TV Channels/VODs/Countries/Optionality (Very Good)

What’s important to note here is that Cracklepop TV is set up differently and is a very robust streaming service. The subscription packages have preselected countries in them. This will be explained further soon. There is a Bouquets feature during registration that lets you remove countries, channels, and/or VODs. You add/subtract them from the playlist. In other words, content that you don’t want to watch (hence: Optionality).

Depending on which package is chosen, there can be up to 19,000 or more live channels, up to 10,000 VOD movies, up to 3,000 VOD TV series, sports replays, 500+ 24/7 channels, and over 40 countries. Whatever Do You Even Streams Bro IPTV can do CracklePop TV can do better. As for the streaming TV/VOD content delivered from the other service, CracklePop TV delivers a lot more content under the hood that wasn’t mentioned here.

Trial & Subscription Packages, Costs & Manual/Automatic Payments

Do You Even Stream Bro Trial/Subscriptions (Fair)

The breakdown of the trial and subscriptions is simple enough to understand. However, what I said earlier on their Home page is the very same thing here. They really don’t tell you much of what you are getting. Click the ‘Free Trial Try Now’ button and it mentions “Hundreds of premium channels…”. But what about VOD movies and TV series including other content? Are they being delivered or not?

Click any of the subscription ‘Buy’ buttons and it’s the same thing. Anyone new to this service would think they are only getting live channels. Or could it be, that this is all you get? Hmmm!

All 3 subscription packages have Manual Payment, meaning you pay as you go. When the subscription cycle ends, you must return to the DYES Bro website to renew the subscription again. There is no automatic billing that some individuals would rather have.

Money-Back Question/Refund Policy

The money-back guarantee allows subscribers to request a refund within 30 days which is very generous. However, the Refund Policy written has very little information. This would seem to apply to any of the subscription prices you pay. So it would seem no matter who’s at fault, you can request a full refund within 30 days. Do the 30 days start on the same day you pay or when you activate the TV Player to start watching your favorites online?

Here’s a breakdown of their trial and subscription costs:

  • Free 3-day Trial: $0.00 ***No credit card required
  • 1-Month Plan: $24.99
  • 2-Month Plan: $49.98
  • 4-Month Plan: $99.96

Payment Methods include Major Credit Cards, Debit Cards, PayPal(?), and Bitcoin (Cryptocurrency).

CracklePop TV Trial/Subscriptions w/ Optionality (Very Good)

The reason why there’s a low-cost trial and not a free trial is because there’s so much entertaining streaming TV/VOD content under the hood. A lot that I haven’t included in this comparison of two IPTVs but worth paying the low cost. You start by choosing a basic subscription package and then drill down to choose the number of devices and number of months you want.

Low-Cost 24-Hour Trial: $3.00 w/ 2 Device Connections (All Countries)

Choose 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 device connections at one time and 1, 3, 6, or 12-month plans. CracklePop TV has over 200 subscription plans which made it easier to find exactly what you want based on what you can afford. The minimum starts at $16.00 per month.

Subscription Prices/Costs

Each subscription package tells pretty much what you are getting in streaming TV/VOD content. But everything is not listed.

What’s very unique here is the 7 subscription packages pre-loaded with countries, each having a price range from $16-$550 which can include 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 device connections and 1, 3, 6, or 12-month plans. The prices vary depending on what you choose.

CracklePop TV lets you choose Manual Payment or Automatic Payments. This appeals to individuals on both sides. Choose Manual or one-time payment, which means you are in total control. You decide whether or not to renew the subscription. Automatic payments are recurring billing, the customer doesn’t need to go through the entire process of paying again.

Here’s a list of the subscription packages with or without adult content:

  1. All Countries TV/VOD Package
  2. Americas TV/VOD Package ***North, Central & South America
  3. Canada TV/VOD Package
  4. English TV/VOD Package ***US, UK, CA, AU, NZ, Caribbean, S. Africa & Ireland
  5. US Premium TV/VOD Package
  6. USA-CAN-UK TV/VOD Package
  7. MAG Devices (All Countries) TV/VOD Package

What’s also good about this is you get even more ‘Optionality‘ when using the Bouquets feature during registration. This allows you to check/uncheck boxes pointing to countries, channels, and VODs you either want or don’t want to be included in your playlist.

The playlist is added to the TV player app you are going to use. What better way than to enjoy watching your favorites without seeing 40 or so different countries with content you are never going to watch? Have it tailor-made for your purpose.

Money-Back Guarantee/Refund Policy

There is a 7-day Money-Back Guarantee which starts at the time of purchase. The Refund Policy is very detailed and includes conditions. This is a must-read so that users have a good idea of when they can request a refund. This also includes what happens when the service is at fault such as service interruption that occurs more than 72 hours.

Payment Methods included:

  • Major Credit Cards (Globally)
  • Amazon Pay (Globally)
  • Apple Pay (Globally)
  • Cash App Pay (US)
  • Link (Globally)
  • Bancontact (Belgium)
  • EPS (Austria)
  • iDEAL (Netherlands)
  • Buy Now, Pay Later ***Customers pay installments but I receive payments in full
  • Canadian Pre-Authorized Debits (Canada)
  • Afterpay / Clearpay (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK, US)
  • Klarna (US & Europe)

Customer Service/Support

Do You Even Stream Bro Support (Fair)

The chat box is the only way to make contact with this service for pre-sale questions and support. Usually, a live chat box agent is available but it’s unclear if available 24/7. Nevertheless, there is the option to leave a message with your email address to be contacted later. It’s unclear if there’s a support email. This could come after registering for the trial or subscription when getting emails from them.

They closed down their other service/website, Superman Steams, and seem to be redirecting customers someplace else. My guess is they are sending new customers to the DYES Bro website. Complaints by former customers have been made against them. I Googled complaints and scams and AI revealed there was some risk after what some individuals have stated.

CracklePop TV Support (Very Good)

There is a chat box and Telegram icon on the website for pre-sale questions. When support is needed, the subscriber must log into the Client Area to open a ticket. Also, there’s a Knowledgebase with helpful setup guides, account/invoice/order info, and other information that can be found there.

The Support link in the Menu section has a dropdown list:

  • Telegram for Pre-sale Questions
  • Open Support Ticket (Subscribers Online)
  • Video Tutorials
  • Installation Setup Guides

As you can see, CracklePop TV gives you more than one way to make contact and has an excellent response time when responding to questions and support messages.

The Verdict: Winner, Loser

If you didn’t know by now, CracklePop TV is the clear winner in many categories listed above. But to be fair this doesn’t necessarily mean this service is best for everyone. No streaming TV/VOD or IPTV service is perfect and there are bound to be some dissatisfied users.

The main things that make a top streaming TV/VOD service include:

  • Delivering what was promised
  • Website/Service clarity
  • More streaming TV/VOD content with/without adult content
  • Fewer limitations
  • More payment options
  • Having very good support and response time
  • More than one way to make contact
  • Helpful FAQs and information
  • Trial to test everything
  • Very good service reliability, stability, and device compatibility
  • Allowing users to enjoy the best of web TV/VOD entertainment
  • Great web TV experience
  • More optionality and subscription packages to choose from
  • Low pricing that fits any budget

Unfortunately, Do Even Stream Bro can’t compete with CracklePop TV’s robust core of entertainment, features, compatibility, and low subscription prices. The decision is now yours to make.
