Recently, we discovered Zoom Player IPTV and decided to test it on a Windows PC (OS 11). Like all supported apps it was connected to the CracklePop TV service to watch streaming TV channels/VODs. Although not perfect, this IPTV Player for Windows worked rather well. So we decided to share our findings and tell you more about this Smart IPTV Player which is now on our list of supported apps.
If you have been searching for a very good IPTV media player for Windows computers, this may be the one you’ve been longing for. Or, if you happened to stumbled here and never thought about watching entertainment streaming TV/VOD content on your computer, here’s a great way. There’s a 30-day trial that lets you test everything. Later, you can decide whether or not to play the lifetime subscription. We break everything down for you below.
What is Zoom Player IPTV?
Zoom Player is an Inmatrix Media Solutions development offering several related products with lifetime, and one-year subscriptions. They allow you to try before you buy with a 30-day free trial to test. No credit/debit card to be locked in before use. The media player has the technology that permits users to stream IPTV channels and VOD. This is what’s called (Internet Protocol Television).
The IPTV Windows Player is a customizable, flexible media player that isn’t just for Windows computers. It’s also compatible with Android Smartphones and Tablets. It’s like having a smart player that comes with powerful Smart Play technology. It also provides many media formats that integrate IPTV streaming content very well, thus giving users an enhanced streaming experience when watching their favorites online.
The Zoom Player media center simplifies matters and caters to individuals with little to no computer experience as well as core users. We can attest to this having tested the Zoom Player IPTV during the 30-day trial. As a result, you can send your TV/VOD entertainment through the roof when turning any Windows PC into a Home Entertainment Center. This comes without any special hardware, equipment, or operating system.
The IPTV Player for Windows can run on any 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows. Watch the introduction video below…
Is a Zoom Player Good, Legit?
We tested the Zoom Player IPTV on a Windows PC 11 operating system and found it worthy enough when connected to the streaming TV/VOD service. The delivery of streaming content, interfacing, performance, and features were found to be very satisfactory. We don’t think the vast majority of individuals will experience problems when using a high-speed Internet connection and the latest or near the latest streaming device and operating system.
What the developer claimed would be delivered is legit whereas end-users should be happy with the overall performance when connected to streaming TV/VOD service. So for now, it appears Inmatrix Media Solutions delivers on its promise that also includes support.
How does Zoom Media Player IPTV work?
This very versatile media player supports different multimedia formats including IPTV streams. Here’s how it works with IPTV:
1. IPTV Streaming
- When the M3u playlist is loaded or the streaming URL is inputted into the Zoom Player, the technology in the player will start connecting to the IPTV provider’s server
- The Zoom Windows IPTV Player will then decode and display the video/audio streams on the user’s screen. This interfacing that takes place is typical to all IPTV media players (a.k.a. IPTV Player apps) and also permits continuous playback of video-on-demand content and/or live TV channels which of course depends on the IPTV provider
2. IPTV Streaming Content Source
- IPTV Service Providers: Since no IPTV PC Player delivers any streaming content on its own, it’s up to the user to find the ideal IPTV subscription from a reputable provider. One who will provide the URLs for TV channels, M3u playlists, etc. The playlist will have the user’s username and password, and furnish the links to the streaming IPTV content in different media formats
- Local Files: In addition, the user can find free M3u lists online from other websites/providers.
3. Integration of M3U Playlist
- Zoom Player IPTV makes use of the M3u playlist files that will load the IPTV channels which again contains the list of URLs that points to video streams
- Simply enter the playlist into the media player via the ‘Open Playlist’ option. Another way is to add the stream URL directly into the player
4. Xtreme Codes Integration
- Using Xtreme codes is another way to set up and start watching streaming TV/VOD content from the player. The IPTV service via a trial or subscription provides the Xtreme codes that consist of the Username, Password, and Portal (Server) URL
- Enter the Xtreme codes in the Zoom Player installed on the device. This will be covered in more detail later
5. Supported Streaming Formats
- This IPTV Player for Windows supports different streaming protocols. This includes HLS, HTTP, MMS, and RTSP, which are common for IPTV providers. The technology in the player automatically chooses the right protocol related to the stream’s file or URL
6. Playback Features
- Interface Customization: The Zoom IPTV Windows Player allows customizing the interface plus control layout that makes it convenient for end-users to choose either a complex or streamlined setup
- Channel Switching: When utilizing the M3u playlist, users can get in and out of different IPTV channels
- Playback Controls: Provides typical playback features such as volume control, see, play/pause, plus subtitle support
- Recording: Depending on the configuration and version, the end-user can record live streams. Saving TV programs to watch later
- EPG (Electronic Programming Guide): If the IPTV Provider offers it, then it can be integrated into Zoom Player. The user can see the current program schedule which makes it easier to move in and out of channels. CracklePop TV does offer an EPG.
7. Network & Hardware Prerequisites
- Using the Smart Zoom Player IPTV requires a stable high-speed internet connection, either through a wired (Ethernet) connection or a wireless connection. Poor streaming performances such as lagging or buffering can occur with poor Internet connection speed. Although 30-100 Mbps should work well enough, it’s better to have 100 Mbps or more Internet connection (download) speed
- A compatible streaming device is required like a Windows PC or Android Smartphone/Tablet and should have the video decoders needed for smooth playback
Take a look at the different parts of the Interface with all the features indicated below:
Main Interface
Playlist Editor
IPTV & Program Options
EPG (Electronic Program Guide)
See other parts of the Interface HERE.

Mac Computers
The following will take some research on your own but there is an easier way to get access to many entertaining streaming content. This comes down to getting a CracklePop TV subscription. See recommended IPTV service further down.
- VLC Media Player
- llNA
- ProgDVB/ProgTV w/ Wine
Linux Computer
- MPlayer
- KODI

When using IPTV with a Linux or Mac operating system, generally an IPTV M3u playlist or direct stream URL is required. This can be obtained through one of the CracklePop TV subscriptions or trial. Also, we provide a Web TV Player for all computer operating systems. The web player opens up in a web browser and requires the same login details to watch TV online.
